  My youngest child has asperger syndrone, however it is similar to autisms kids.  They also have some differents in them.  The differents is that the kids that have asperger syndrome are more intellagent, then the kids with autisms.  Both of them have trouble with socializing with other people.  They both have trouble with change, it very important to them to have a routine.  And change their routine can cause a out blurst, however can cause a fit throwing from a children that is 11 years old.  That can remind you of a toddler, which cause difficulty with home life, and at school. There are lots people that do not understand those kids, which cause more problems. Some of the problems I have dealt with is, my family members say that he is just spoiled child. They also say I treat him different then my other to kids. Well, that my be the case, but dealing with a kid that has asperger sydrome can cause a lot of problems. One of the things my son has a problem with is being staired at, yet it cause out burst at home and in the class rooms. A good example is, when he thinks someone is stairing at him, however it seems to him that they stairing at him for reason and he gets up set and starts yell at that person. It has happen in the class room as well at home. I had to take time off work to go to school to claim him down. There is tricks to get him claimed down, and lot of time i have to show his teachers how to do it. He started jr high school this year, yet every new school year is a big problem. I have to do this a every years. But, it can be worth it. There was a problem one year with one of his teacher. She just did not listen to me when it come him, which cause a lot of problems is the class room. And I got the blame for that. But that a hole different story, to tell u.
